E30 sunroof getting stuck

So one of my sunroof rails was broke so sunroof wouldn't pop..so I took it apart sourced a new one and put back together and now the sunroof works like new....EXCEPT when I pop the headliner bit into place. It jams it and it needs me to push it with my hand to get it opening and closing. I can't see where it's catching or why...very annoying

Has anyone had this problem/know how to fix??

headliner bit is bent so it catches now. You did it wrong. Online instructions are wrong. Proper way of servicing sunroof is to remove the whole panel from the top.

I did remove the whole panel then changed rails then put back in.. is it the side bits of the headliner that will be bent?
