    Any AC wizards out there?

I have new noise I'm trying to figure out. When the AC is on, everything's fine until the engine speed drops to idle. Then, there is a groaning sound coming from the area of the front pass side firewall. Revving the engine makes it go away. The AC seems to be functioning normally.

    Any clues???

    THANKS!

Sounds like a belt, noises are hard to diagnois without, well, hearing them. Could be a thousand things. Check the tension with the engine off and report back.

Belt tension is OK. It's not that "kind" of noise. It sounds like something bolted to the firewall near where the AC piping goes into the car. I'll check Bentley to see what lives there.

      Thanks for the suggestion.
