Fixing up rust on the 30 and the rear passenger wheel well is a mess. Water made its way in through expansion tank hose hole and rusted out that area and the tube under the back seat pretty well. I was thinking that for the sake of future corrosion resistance it might be better to relocate the expansion tank to the trunk like it is in e28s and completely seal off the wheel well from the interior. Anyone else have some input?
