    Fuel gauge acting out?

Hi so I noticed lately my fuel gauge sometimes gets stuck in full position. Sometimes it works properly and shows fuel level. However, even when the fuel gauge is stuff in full position, the on board computer would show the correct range.
Would you mean there's something up with the gauge itself?

    Thanks

It's a common problem. It most likely can be fixed by taking out your cluster and tightening up the ground nut on the back.

Or the floater in the fuel level sender is stuck. Take the sender out, spray the tube (there should be a couple of small holes) with carb cleaner and shake the floater up and down vigorously. Continue doing this until the carb cleaner is clear.

It seems obvious but my friend caught me doing this. When you flip it over, make sure you are tightening the right ground or you are going to put it back in and be like ??. He was like "how do you know it's that side?" And I was like cuz look, flipped it over, that was the wrong side! Screwed the correct one and it worked for me!
