Question for BMW Techs re TIS

Looking over a couple of bulletins on this bootleg TIS I have, it refers to units paid for repairs - FRU I think they are called.

What is an FRU = in time? I was once told an FRU = 1/8 of an hour.

Am I right about that?

Yes. 8 Fru's per hour. Flat Rate Unit.
