    Fuel filter/hoses

    I went to replace my fuel filter today and tore one of the fuel hoses in the process. Is this something that I NEED to replace with an OEM part? If it is then so be it, but I just wanted to ask before I spend $20 for a 6in hose.

      I have a 5/16 inch (ID) fuel injection hose from NAPA on mine (~$5.60/ft iirc), no problems. Just make sure it's rated for fuel injection since that's high pressure, compared to the fuel hoses for carburated engines, which are low pressure.
