So recently the ignition on my 1989 325is will not turn past position 1. I've tried jiggling and turning the wheel when trying to start the car with no avail. I've also used some graphite to loosen things up in the ignition cylinder with no results for the past few days. So I'm caving and buying a replacement. My question is do I just need the ignition cylinder, or the whole ignition assembly? I'm sure I just need the cylinder but I've never had this happen before so I want to be sure before I order the part. Thanks in advance:)
