I'm trying to get my car back to good working condition with regards to heat and a/c.P.O. had changed the cracked dash and removed the a/c when doing the 24v swap,I've replaced all the a/c components with mostly new including the expansion valve for 134r,drier,custom lines etc etc.Had a shop vac the system and charge,they had trouble verifying vent temps because there's something whacky going on.
Fan works on all speeds(replaced the blower resistor),with the center vents open theres no temp control its always ambient.Doesn't seem like the controls are doing what they should regarding which vent gets the air,looking behind the controls from the glovebox the cables and levers seem to be doing their thing.
The heater valve at the drivers right leg is always hot,should it be cold when the temp dial calls for cold or does it always circulate coolant regardless?
I don't want to start throwing parts at it to try and correct,if anyone has some been there done that advice its very welcomed.
