Remove shift knob and boot. I believe there is a little circlip type thing above ball on the shifter that holds it into the big metal rod (white plastic thing around the ball). Undo the clip that holds in the selector rod to the shifter. Shifter should come out. Put new one in, put grease on the ball and plastic thing it sits in before installation. Hook everything back up, but the circlip thingy back in on top of the white plastic thing. Should be good to go.
