    Brake lining harness issue

So my 318is decided to nom on its rear brake sensor harness. Of course not the easily replaceable part either. It is the section of harness that passes through the body of the car into were the rear seat is.

Easiest way to explain it is you have your brake sensor wire which goes to your brake pad. Then on the other end it connects to a connector attached to the rear sub frame. From there it passes through the body of the car with a largeish rubber grommet and on to the rest of the harness. What I need is the section that passes through the body of the car with the grommet to the connector. would anyone possibly happen to know the part number for that.

    Thanks for any help

What I have done in the past, if the connectors are trashed, is to get some good used parts from a salvage yard and splice in wire if I have to. The last two times I did this the yard gave me the parts for free.

If you want to go OE, talk to your dealer's parts guy. He has the best chance of locating the part numbers if they are still available. My dealer's parts guy is really good and has, on occasion, located wiring parts that I could not find any part numbers for.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I have and one of them is actually a good friend of mine we spent 45 minutes the other day scouring over diagrams even trying to reference newer cars and didn't get anywhere. was just curious if anyone on here had luck getting that section of harness.

I can pull the 1 from my track car if you want a used 1.
