Please Help!! EVERYTHING IS SO HOT

Since I have been back from school I have noticed something alittle different about my car. No matter what I do, top down; windows down, top up; nothing down; blower going with all the a/c I have left, not much. My center console and especaily my drivers side foot well is so hot.

I do have a aftermarket head unit, I have heard sometimes these can give off some heat but I didn't think this much.

What could this be? Please help, I really don't feel comfortable sometimes because I am just waiting for flames to start coming out of the center of the car.

    Thanks.

Check your exhaust, and make sure there are no leaks if there are they'll naturally heat up wherever they are evacuating to. Also look at all the undercoating as well, if it breaks down and or falls out you can pick up heat as well.

sounds like heat comin from the heater core to me. I had the opposite thing happen on my e28 the heater core thermostat valve(its on the drivers side firewall on an e28 the same in an e30 i think) jammed closed and i lost all heat. Since it was fall and i kina needed heat i took it out and just put a coupling in its place so i effecively had full heat all the time. In the summer it got HOT my right foot would feel like it was on fire on a long drive and no matter what i did it was hot in the car when stopped... maybe yours jammed full open or something id check it just to make sure .

This is what I might have expected more because my exhaust is not hot. I have full heat any time I need it and no A/C and I did remember it running alittle cold when I left it the last time.

To check this where should I look on the car? Is it it inside under the dash, steering wheel or is it in the engine bay? Thanks again

Wouldn't the exhaust be louder though? This would be one thing that I would suspect but I thought that it would make the car louder. Easy check so I will do it any ways. Thanks

Thanks for the help so far. Please, if anyone has any more suggestions feel free. I will look at them tomorrow. THANKS!

Upon re-reading his post I'm gonna say, I think you called it pretty close. He said footwell, so he'd be right under it. Makes sense to me.
