Tachometer still reading in "eta" rpms...

I had a 325 super eta, which had a 6k rpm redline, I recently converted to 3.5L i engine, which has a 7k rpm redline.

    SENSOR: from 3.5L

    TACHOMETER: from 325i (7k rpm)

    ECU: from the 3.5L engine

What else am i forgetting??? When i start the car, it looks like it has a 1100 rpm idle!

I believe there is a code plug that you need for your cluster.

Yep, you need the coding plug from an I/IS guage cluster. It's the little white thing in the bottom right corner.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. It's a 2.5L not a 3.5L....unless it's one of those uber rare Mtech II cars they always seem to be on about over on E30tech. ;)
