My car left me with a no-start situation about two weeks ago. Upon inspection, it was the fuel pump fuse. The fuse is relatively new, about two years old.
Now I'm curious as to why the fuse would blow, since I have no shorts in my wiring. I have replaced the fuse with a new one, and the car has been fine since two weeks ago, put about 1500 miles since.
I know high load would blow the fuse. But since I've put so many more miles on my car since, I would suspect it would have blown again had it been high load causing the fuse to go.
What do you guys think? Perhaps it was simply a faulty fuse?
