    Wiper motor

    Hey folks,

I recently pulled my wiper linkage and motor out for some servicing while I have the engine out. To get it out I disconnected the Motor from the linkage and pulled them out separately. I did this by removing the nut from the arm on the Motor. So now my question, since I don't know where the Motor is I assume I should run the Motor to get it to its stopped position? Anyone know how to do this via the fusebox or directly to the connector? My batt is not hooked up.

Well you can't do it from the fusebox if the battery's not hooked up. Apply power to the pin that connects to the black/red wire and ground to the pin that connects to the brown wire. I think that will make it run to the park position.

This did not work. I tried black/yellow to+12 and brown to gnd. This just runs the motor continuously. So I just hooked the battery ground back up put the key to on and touched the fuse box power lead to the terminal. Worked
