    fuse #23

my left rear tailight (parking light only) is out... brake light works

everytime i put in a 7.5 fuse in slot #23, it'll burn out the moment i turn on the parking lights..

weird thing is, even without a fuse in #23... the left rear parking light is still out, but when i press the brake...it works!

    any suggestions?

Sounds like a short in the plug to me.........but I rather suck at electrical problems.

With no fuse in #23, you press the brake pedal and the left raer parking light comes on? Short between the 2 somewhere. You'll just have to test around and see where it is shorting.

Sounds like a short, the wire or plug carring the 12v is grounding out somewhere. I would start at the plug see if the contacts are touching each other, if thats not your problem look at the wire to see if any insulation has been stripped off.
