Pictures of putting front of engine all back together...

It's been so long...I'm forgetting where all the nuts an' bolts go.

Anyone got pictures? The ETK only does so much.

I can figure it out, but it sure would save time if I had somethin to reference! :)

WTF? This is why you always should put your nut and bolts in a zip lock bags and label them.

What sections of the front are bothering you? What have you put together already?

Mainly - trying to figure out how the timing belt, front crank sensor and whatnot all go back together - from there I could definately get it all. I'm just trying to knock out the whole front of the engine. I have the front engine cover on and the pulleys - but that's about it for the front.

I'm trying to dig through old photos to find stuff that can kinda shed some light.

Here is an old shot of my motor, somewhat assembled on the front

I have PM'd you some other shots as well.

Not everyone has this luxury. I bought my car with the engine half dissasembled and all nuts bolts and brackets in a bucket. Took a little bit of common sense and the bentley manual pictures to help me put it together.

A Bentley manual was also going to be my second suggestion. Have you tried RealOEM.com and looked to see if any of their parts diagrams help?

I COULD HAVE done it. I took my engine out and apart on my own. So, I DID have that luxery. I didn't because my hands get dirty, and I wanted to get it apart fast, since at the time - I wanted to get done fast. (Course, I ended up taking more time cause I no longer had a reason to rush like I originally thought). So, I could have - but I didn't.

I regret doing it, and wish I had, but now I'm making do with what I got. For the most part, it's together.

Ritalin, the ETK is basically RealOEM except better - bigger resolution graphics and easier to find what I want. It only helps so much though.

I know what needs to go where - it's just a matter or remembering what bolts are used for what.

I'll give it a shot tonight - hopefully I'll ahve the engine all back together tonight ;)

Post some pictures of the bolts you don't have a spot for.

The front of the engine only has a few that aren't obvious.
