    flywheel differences

I recently sold an early model m20 flywheel to another member here on r3v. For one reason he is having trouble getting his clutch to work with it. The flywheel is definitely from an m20. I know this because thats all I've ever had,
Ive never had a four cylinder car. He is telling me when he tries to put the clutch onto the flywheel the bolts don't line up, they are all off by a 1/4". I have an early model flywheel in my car, and I have the motronic 1.1 setup with the crank sensor up front and not in the bell housing. He is trying to do the same thing, put an early model flywheel in a later model car (e30). Any help?

Sounds to me like he has the wrong clutch/pressure plate.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
