And I'm pretty sure it has to do with the electrical/charging system. My alternator died a few days ago, so until I could by a new one, I swapped in a spare one I had from a parts car. I bought the new one, put it in last night, and now the next day, my car is acting almost like it did when my last one died. I can feel considerably less power when accelerating, mainly in 1st and 2nd gear, and my idle is very low, like just above 500 or so. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to check all the connections and what-not in the morning, but I'm really at a loss. Something is going on, I'm not quite sure what, though.
