    Weird Wires ?

    Hey, I have an 88 325is, I recently found these two wires cut.... What do they go to? Thnx!

      looks to be the backlight for the gearselector


      they sometimes pop out of the clip and get cut when u put the car in gear

      2 options, re solder em back together

      do a manual swap :p

          I think a 5 spd swap is THE way to go.

          Or, just fix it.. ;)

              ugh

              I rebuilt the automatic for like $1,650 at Mr Transmission, search my posts, they are a bunch of fu*k nuts. IDIOITS from hell these people are. My car slips out of gear on the interstate randomly. Wish I did the 5-spd sometimes. But city traffic, this is definitly easier.
