Caliper sticks on/off will Caliper Bushing Kit fix it???

My front driver caliper sticks on/off and gives my steering wheel vibration on/off.

There is a caliper bushing kit available, will this solve the problem and make it work like new?

    Thanks guys!!! :?

If the actual caliper is seized, no. You need to rebuild it or get a new one.
If the caliper isn't sliding, the kit you speak of might fix it.

Normally when a caliper on a e30 sticks it needs to be rebuilt.

Buy a new seal kit, and while the piston is out hone the cylinder.

You may need a piston seal kit.

There is also a guide pin/bushing kit. Comes with the accordian boot and a new guide pin. One of my guide pins seized into the caliper and it stuck on.

But you did bleed the brakes first right?

Also, but after you check everything else, a bad master cyl can cause a sticky caliper.

        ;)

Sorry for the old thread revival, but I currently have a sticky rear caliper, and want to rebuild all 4 with seals and guides/bushing, as well as SS lines.

Now, are there any solid front guides available for girling calipers? I

have ATE calipers in the back so I am assuming I can use the BavAuto solid guides back there.

Anyone else make solid guides? Are solid guides even possible in the front? I am getting uneven pad wear in my front pass side, kind of lop-sided. I'm hoping there is something to replace up there, I track my car regularily and figure it's a good time to get the stock braking system in tip-top condition for next season.
