Can't get hood open

I tried to get the hood open by using a flat head screwdriver and that hasn't worked so I took the grille and the headlight out and still can't get it open any help

Uhhh, use a larger flat head screw driver? It's not rocket science, you got to really wedge it in there.

If you have an angle grinder you could always just cut out a few small service holes directly into the hood of your car

The latch may be gunked up and sticking. Try oiling it with a light oil like Tri-flow or similar.

Yeah, gotta get the slot open wide enough. My "hood key" is a little flaky too sometimes.
