    ac blower issue

Just put in a brand new Blower motor and fixed the resistor, it blows air on all 4 speeds. The only problem is it still makes a sound because once it turns on, the blower motor itself rubs up against the walls even after adjusting it correctly. It seems to move itself once i put it on the highest setting then has a rubbing sound thats kinda loud. If i hit the panel that covers it it seems to be intermittent. Any idea on how to get it to stay in place firmly? I have the band around it that holds it in place and the cover on.

Is the band the stock metal band that is suppose to hold it in place?

If it's rubbing, it's not adjusted correctly. That band is a pretty tight fit.

it is in tight it just changes when I change the settings. The band is securely wrapped around and it spins freely then it randomly rubs depending on setting.

            So it's not in tight.
