    Alternator

Last night it appears that my voltage regulator blew. Again. Amp light is dimly lit (I can barely see it at night) but I can "feel" my battery wearing down. It happened on my previous alternator not even a year ago. Does my car just like to get all jazzy and zappy with itself or what?

Ya think Autozone will replace my alternator even though I don't have a receipt but I'm "in the system."

God I don't even know why I'm posting here...
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
    Mark: "You never will."

Autozone parts suck, they will fail time and time again. Ask for a refund and go buy one from bavauto.

I got mine from Autozone 4 years ago, and I have no complaints.

Duralast parts are usually pretty good. But like anything I suppose there could always be a bad one, and if your luck is like mine you'll have the one bad item out of a million............
