Hello guys. My name is Michael, I am new to the forums and want to thank you guys in advance for being such a great community of people willing to help one another when it comes to our lovely cars.
I own a 91 325i vert and am having problems with the power windows. This started happening right after an accident that involved me hitting a curb that cracked my oil pan to about a million pieces. Thankfully, the oil pan took all the damage and I'm waiting for a new one to come in and will be installing it soon. Unfortunately, after this incident I immediately noticed an issue - the power windows dont work around 80% of the time. When they dont work, the window buttons have no illumination and theres seemingly no power given to them (as if a fuse was blown). I checked the fuse and it is alright, especially considerinf that theres still short periods of time during which the windows work. The timing on them working and not working is pretty random. Do you guys have any ideas/suggestionts to what the root of the problem may be? The crash must have contributed to this considering they started doing this immediately following that incident. BTW, nothing but the oil pan was damaged during that accident. Thank you guys in advance
