*oise = noise (stupid typo)
This started happening a few months ago but sort of disappeared for a while.
Basically when starting from a stop and either letting the car roll down a hill or when only very ligthly accelerating, the car makes a groaning or creaking noise you might hear from a old rusty door hinge. The weird part is that it doesn't always happen, but randomly every other day or so.
I'm pretty sure it is coming from the front end of the car because I can actually feel it in the steering wheel as a light vibration. This only seems to happen when the steering wheel is very close to being centered.
I have been having problems with my brakes for a while, I have a decent shake in the steering wheel at around 50 (goes away at 60 and above), and this is magnified when braking from that speed. I have replaced all the rotors and pads but that doesn't seem to help. I'm wondering if this is possibly connected to the noise problem..
Does anyone have any ideas?
