    New front bearing nuts?

    Greetings all,

The new FAG front wheel bearings i ordered just arrived. I took a quick look to make sure everything was in the box and noticed that the nuts do not come with the little lock tab.
I´m a little weary of installing the bearing without the locking tab.
Has anyone encountered this issue with new bearing kits?

      Thanks goarmy.

It looks like all of the nuts sold separately from the kit don´t come notched either. Maybe they expect you to cut the notch yourself ?

It's built into the nut. The "tube" sticking out the front of the nut gets hammered into the notch in the spindle with a punch.

This. Just did both of my front hubs and the ones I got from Guten (Optimal) came with the nuts. Hammered the collar in like Andrew says.

            Thanks ELVA164, AndrewBird,
I was thinking dremel a notch but your suggestion is less complicated.
