Removing vertical aim adjustment hydraulic pipes

    Hi.

I'm stripping my engine bay and i can't figure out how to remove the hydrualic pipes for the headlight adjustment system from the headlight adjusters.

Do they just slide out or is there some sort of clamp or clip that needs removing. The aim is to be able to somewhat separate these from the headlights as I need to be able to remove these as they are integrated into the wiring loom.

    Thanks.

why not just cut it ? 99% of E30 hydraulic headlight adjustment aren't working, they are close to impossible to repair, very bad design.

I'm doing a restoration on the car so the goal is not to cut things and to have them there like they were before.

The whole adjustment assembly twists out. I replaced mine with manual adjusters.
