Firewall question?

Hi guys,

I've got some rust of the my 1985 323i firewall; my body/welder guy has a 1989 without rust. Are there any differences in the firewall section? Both are RHD. Cheers.

I believe they are the same, I don't think the actual chassis saw any changes throughout the production run. I could be wrong, any one else know for sure?

I certainly hope so as every wrecker I got to have cars that are swiss cheese if anyone else could confirm I'd appreciate it!

I think cars after 1987 have a larger hole for the engine harness to go through, that's it as far as I know
