I do not mean to sound ungrateful for the input but I feel like I'm not getting my point/question across at all.

You are, it's just a silly premise for a discussion thread. Build what you want and/or what you can afford. If it ends up being too much/not enough, tweak it accordingly.

That said, I'm of the opinion that anything over ~300hp in an E30 chassis is a waste. Unless you live your life a quarter mile a time of course.
