Are there instructions somewhere as to how to adjust? In and out,
I would think you would loosen the hex bolt position it and then retighten, correct?
I'm going to give it some strong whacks this weekend and see if I can get it loose, anyone have pulley removal steps, it seems like it is built in.E30 325ix 62k

The whole thing comprises of 3 pieces.
-- The pulley wheel
-- The metal bracket that hold the pulley wheel and the internal hex bolt together
-- The internal hex bolt
You can and should be able to fully separate all 3 and take them out. I just put a belt on my car 2 weeks ago and simply loosened the internal hex, loosened the pulley, slid the belt on and that was it.
