    M20 randomly cuts out!

Every once in a while my car will randomly cut out....or if I am stopped at a light idling it sometimes turns off... This happens very rarely but like I said it happens and it is very annoying. The idle control valve is very new so I have kind factored that out. Anyone else have any ideas! Thanks

vacuum leaks... or a real far fetched idea...

Maybe water has leaked thru your passenger side blower vent (from the outside air to the cabin) and made it's way into your ECU and corroded the circuits to the point that the fuel and/or spark is inhibited.. If it gets worse, it pays to check out your ecu circuit boards.. It happened to me..fuckin wierd.. never would have thought

          haha, wierd huh?

The guy ended up scraping off the corrosion CAREFULLY with a mild wire brush and it started back up...I thought it was funny, but he put the ECU in a plastic bag and tried to seal it as best as he could... and then tie-wrapped it and called it a day...$250 fix (labor to find the problem)

Check the injector harness connector. Mine was loose and the engine kept going out, sometimes it wouldn't start. It's a round plastic connector sitting by the engine block on the driver side under the intake manifold
