I dont think M3s have special windshields, so any e30 gasket will work. AFAIK of course

I personally use www.bmaparts.com for most of my OEM purchases. Call and talk to Patrick, he's a good guy

That is the mistake my friend did, he bought a regular e30 seal, different.

Maybe a dealer only item.

Bonded style. Take it to a dealer recomended glass shop.
