    convertible battery tie down

Well, I was supposed to autox today. Me being the super-prepared person I am didn't get to autozone till 11pm last night and what do you know, the "universal battery tie down" isn't as universal as the name might lead you to believe. Anyway, that's why I'm sitting at the computer in Austin instead of ruining my tires in San Antonio.

There's another autox next month, that I will be attending (4th try's a charm). What are you front-mounted battery guys using for a tie down?

Funny - when installing my stereo, I pulled my front mounted battery out of the 'vert and was suprised to find it just sits under the hood! The only real thing holding it in place besides gravity is the wires attached to the terminals. I was wondering if I was missing a tie down...guess not.

:stupid: Ratchet straps have MANY uses.
