Washer inside oil filter housing tube - M42

I was changing my oil in my M42 and saw a small washer inside the tube of the housing. Almost looks like the washer for the housing bolt but just slightly bigger.
I assume it was an old washer that fell in there years ago? I guess the bolt was keeping it centered over the hole all this time, just seems odd.

I tried fishing it out but it ended up sliding sideways and now I can't find it!
What problems will this cause being in there? Of course the car is running great so far. The washer is too large to fall down into the block.
Im sure I need to pull the housing off but I don't have the gasket or the time right now.
Thoughts?

I got it out finally. On the left in the photo, bolt washer on the right shown for reference.
So what is this thing? Looks like a crush washer and has the same diameter as the drain bolt crush washer.
