Almost done with M30 Swap, need some help

I am allmost done with the M30AFM swap, I installed my 5.0 injectors, and I took the spring and arm off of my M20AFM, but it seems like I cant get the 3 nuts that hold the circuit board in the AFM. Did any of you guys use a dremel to get the screws out? I tried an impact wrench, and those screws still arent able to come out.

When I did it with a friend, we had to put like all of our weight on them.

Also, When I used a wrench to turn the screws, it seemed like I accidently scrapped the circuit board. Is my circuit board bad now? Or is a small scratch ok? It didnt break any connections on the circuit board.

You should try those screw removal bits that you can get from Sears.

I used them when trying to remove those AFM circuit board screws.

            Good Luck

Hey paul, I am allready done with the M30 AFM swap, I basically dremelled the screws out :D . Other than that I am going to Bill's house on Saturday and we are making a bracket in his metal shop. Do you guys know if an e28 TB to AFM boot will work with the M30AFM? I am currently using ductape.

Haha, yeah I called him yesterday, AFTER I finished swapping the electronics, etc(it would of helped knowing him before the meet). Yeah like I said, I am going to go over his house on Saturday to construct a custom bracket for my M30AFM in his metal shop 8)! Oh yeah, and get ready for a huge SoCal e30 Spring Break meet

BTW: Is Bill ever on b/f or r3v?
