    E36 problem

93 325i. I replaced that CPS and it was fine. Driving and lost all power. Looked into it and a battery cable had come loose. I put it back on and had power again but it wouldn't start. I put a brand new CPS on thinking that the used one was no good and it still won't start. I have fuel. I disconnected at the fuel rail and turned the key on. It's getting gas. I'm at a loss.

No spark. Gonna replace the DME this weekend. Any other ideas?

No spark at all ever? Coils ground through the cam cover and then through the shitty web strap at #6. Check for coil base continuity to battery ground. Also check the condition of the engine ground strap near the curbside motor mount.

Ok. I grounded the coil with a wire when I checked spark. I'll check the ground straps.
