Look at my build thread i replaced mine.

Thanks Page 4 and 5 pics are kinda helpful. I wish I could see where all the spot welds were. I guess just start grinding off the road coat and looking.

Thats about the only way. Once its bare metal you can see the spot welds pretty easily.
