    cryo'ed rotors?

Can any rotor like say a $40 brembo E30 rotor be cryo'ed? I'm sure that in big cities there are places that can do this sort of thing. or do "frozen rotors" use a special rotor blank to begin with?

something about supercooling the part to re-align molecular structure. at least thats what i remember the ploy was when louisville came up with some cryo'd bats back in the day.

just go with the brembo blanks and good pads like porterfield or hawk and youll be more than impressed. the cryo treatment wont buy you any noticeable gain and ive never had any problems with brembo oe stuff.

yes any blank can be done. i run stock cryo'd M3 rotors on my e30 only because i won a set. i cannot tell any difference from normal rotors. i mean they work fine but i think stock rotors perform equally well.
me and mtriple got ours at the same time and he had a set of brembo's done that he had purchased and brought in
