    ford o2 sensor

    I heard mustang 5.0 o2 sensors are the exact same for e30s. Can someone confirm this? THANK

    I've heard that also. From what I understand, the only thing is the connectors are different so they'll need to be cut and spliced.

      make sure you use good quality butt splices, you dont wanna up the resistance or you could get the wrong readings from the o2 sensor (although this makes almost no difference in my opinion) just a thought

        i did it in my old 4 door. just soldered the wires together and put some heatshrink over them.

            Works fine.. it is what I have in my M20 right now. The Bosch O2 sensor for a 90 Mustang 5.0 and an 87+ BME 325i/is are the same except the different in the connector.
