Wipers stopping in the middle of the windshield

I have this problem and have searched but I'm reading contradicting solutions. Any one else have an absolute fix? I tried another wiper control module and it still does the same thing.

You need to reposition the arm that attaches to the drive motor.

I did this last year. The bolt which attaches the motor to the linkage is loose and one of the arms has slipped out of alignment. You need to take out the heater blower motor to get access to the compartment where the motor lives. Then loosen the center nut, move the wipers to their parked position, place the arm so it is perpendicular with the car, pointing right (when looking at the front of the car) and tighten the bolt

Don't try the "yank on your wiper until it's better" because it will just strip out the threads on your linkage and you'll have to get a new one
