I reallly need some help.
Today i was driving my 87 325IS down the road and when ever i would hit the brakes my car would slow until around 5 mph the peddle would shudder (flet like abs peddle shudder on ice) until the car stopped.
The car did this 4 times then the ABS light came on.
I then turned the car off then back in and the light turned off.
after 4 or five more stops it came back on. Over and over it happend.
I then put my car on a lift and looked at the front ABS sensors all of the black outer coating has come off and just two wires are exposed. Their is a small cut in one but it doent look like any corosion has occured.
I checked all of the splines on my hubs and they are perfect
Does anyone know why my peddle shudders and kicks ABS off
Could it be the tiny bare wire spot on one of the wires if the abs sensor?
