    vaccum leaks

alright fellas, i know i have to have some vac leaks around here sommers
i have a new intake boot, fairly new breather hose.
how are people keeping the vac lines for the brake booster in the intake boot, mine seems to just barely reach, also how do you get a good seal where the booster lines connect to throttlebody as well as the icv to TB fitting, mine seems to just pop out.
    sorry for the rambling
    Chris

if you dont plan to ever take the fittings out of the TB use a 2 part epoxy like jb weld, or use some red threadlock compound.

why not just some silicone sealant. ever heard of automotive goop? it might work well in that situation.

ive already been through this with my car,

JB Weld the fittings back into the t-body, dont use too much or you could block the air flow, but use enough.

take some Dikes( front cutting pliers), or other suitable evenly-squeezing device), and tighten all the clamped hose clamps.

that should take car of that area.. now find more.

                hope this helps.

i used some high temp rtv silicone, if this doesnt work i have some epoxy as well

edit:i also plan to redrill the mounting holes in my AFM mounting bracket so it is positoned a little father back so the booster hose can get in a little more
