    turn signal and flashers problem

yesterday i noticed that my turn signals weren't working

then today i was checking things and when i turned on my hazard flashers
it only flashed the left side and that one was very dim. then it blew the fuse for
the flashers. checked fuses and #4 and #24 were out. replaced both. turn signals
worked for 3 seconds then blew fuse #4 again. the hazard flashers worked the
same as before, blowing fuse #24 again. turn signal flasher is new. flasher
relay is new. taillight circuit boards are clean with no corrosion. taillight
control board was taken off and cleaned.

    any ideas?

Similar thing happened to me. It turned out to be the wires running to the rear lights. Mashed under the driver side, outer front seat foot.
