Squeak from rear, related to gas pedal input?

    Hoping r3v can help.

I have a squeak coming from the rear end of the car. It's not a squeak that would be caused by brakes, but I checked my brakes anyway, and even adjusted the parking brake with no luck. I changed out the rear shock mounts and even got a reinforcement kit from garagistic with no luck.

The squeak sounds almost like a shopping cart from a grocery store that has a bad or loose wheel. It seems like it's related to the speed of the car, it gets louder until it gets to a certain speed (somewhere between 40-65 mph) and it seems to go away (though that may be the noise of the engine drowning out the squeak). I've noticed that it seems to disappear either when the clutch is pushed, or I'm off power. Its not a constant squeak, but it's gotten worse and it appears to be happening a lot more regularly, smooth or rough roads. Other than the annoying sound, it drives fine, brakes fine, and even shifts fine.

Also possibly related, maybe a different problem entirely, but I've noticed sometimes when the car is first accelerating (like at a green light/stop sign), for the first few feet there is a sound also coming from the rear that sounds like something is compressing. I'm not sure if that would be a spring/shock noise or related to this. I've changed my springs and shocks about 70k ago to a bilstein and h&r sports setup.

p.s. didn't know where to include in the op, but the squeak is not there when the car idles.

Any ideas? I wont be able to get underneath the car for at least another 6 hours. Can it be driveshaft or guibo related? Transmission or diff related? Maybe some bushing just needs to be lubed? I appreciate all of the help!

    TLDR:
    -Squeak coming from rear
-Gets faster as I speed up
-Goes away when I either get off power or clutch in
    -Drives fine otherwise

How are the CV boots? Could be a bad CV joint or drive shaft u-joint.

      Forgot to mention that!

A few years ago I changed out the CV axle on the driver side because it didn't look good. I changed out the passenger side last week because the boot looked worn out.

100% drivetrain-related. Sounds like a bearing to me.

Id have to agree. After further investigating, it sounds like the squeak is more so around the transmission area than the rear. My guess would be the center support bearing and/or the driveshaft itself. I'm going to order the CSB and guibo and report back with how it goes when I can.

Thanks for the help thus far guys!
