    Autopower rollbar help!!

I am putting in the autopower bolt in bar. I have 2 problems that I am facing. Little info: I pulled up the carpet so I could bolt it straight to the metal as I am going to be putting padding on as well.

    Problem #1

The seat belt bars that run from the bottom of the B pillars and have the seat belt looped onto it, will not fit with the roll bar in place. Any solutions? What did you guy do to get around this?

    Problem #2

On the drivers side of the main hoop, you drill through the floor and run 3 bolts down and double nut them. The problem is that right under that section of flooring is solid brake and fuel lines. How did you drill these and mount that section? any other ways around this?

    Thank you in advance!!

You often have to bend (or completely remove) the seatbelt bar to get the roll bar to fit. If you're really good with a welder, you can cut one end of it and weld it to the rollbar tube.

You'll have to temporarily move those lines out of the way to install the bar. You should be able to unclip them from some of the clips that hold them up to the floor, and use a small block of wood or something to hold them away from the floor while you drill for the roll bar feet. You should be able to get them mostly back in place after you get the roll bar in, make a note of where the lines might rub and wrap the lines with a short length of rubber fuel line and zip ties to keep them from vibrating and from wearing a hole in the metal line.

Thanks. I go the seat belt bars to fit. Snug! and I still dont have the carpeting sown so I may be bending them a little afterwards.

I pulled off I think 3 of the line brackets and a shield, then just put a straight blade screwdriver in to keep them pulled away from the car a couple inches while I drilled.

Now there is a little nipple that one of the lines brackets screws into, right in the way of the backing plate. Just cut it off or no?!

That is impossible. Where the backing plate goes, is right where two brackets thread to. Hence the plastic seperator is there, but the nipples they screw onto have to be cut off for the solid steel backing plate.

              ?? Confused ??
