Car dies at idle

Just rebuilt the top end of my motor, it ran fine for a few days but now it starts and runs fine if I give it gas but dies immediately if I take my foot off the pedal. I'm probably taking it to a shop later today but I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas here.

even though the icv works, have you cleaned it recently? i spray carb/choke cleaner in and rattle it around, usually get lots of junk out.

also i clean my AFM flapper- it occasionally causes similar problems for me, esp. low rpm stability
