Hey guys, so it's positive that I toastied my starter solenoid. A friend of mine has a newer style starter that he can give me for a great price and he'll even make me a little adapter wire for the spade to ring connector. My only concern is the fitment. People say the newer one is smaller? Has anyone actually tried fitting the smaller ring connector starter to an older motor? Are all the mounting holes and is the gear size the same?
