    Bogging down when hot

Looking for help assessing a hot-running problem.

Car runs fine when cold and even warm... it is only when I have been driving for 30+ minutes or sitting in traffic that the car bogs down under mid to heavy throttle. On light application of throttle when warm, like inching along in traffic, it is fine... it is only when wants to step on the gas with some haste that the car will refuse to rev up. Feels like it sputters or bogs... eventually it will fight through it and revs will go up.

Thoughts? It has a new cat back exhaust on... I say that because it sort of feels like an exhaust problem. How does one know if it is a catalytic issue? What are the symptoms of bad cat or O2 sensor? What else could impact this? Fuel pressure or flow? Welcome ideas... or better a way to diagnose and not just throw parts at it.
