    Fuse 20 No Power 1989 325i

Im working on a 1989 325i and can not figure out why Fuse 20 blew and now has no power.

    Back story:

I was driving at 2:30 pm today with the a/c on and the fan on level 2. I smelled a faint burning smell from what seemed like the engine area and immediately fuse 20 blew. Installing a new fuse and measuring voltage shows no power at the fuse in the fuse box

What does not currently work-aux fan, a/c and blower motor.
I replaced the the aux relay in January-it has worked fine since then
blower motor and relay have always worked, same with the a/c compressor

Right now I have working everything else-power windows, mirrors ect. K5 and K7 relay should be fine. The wires in the radiator temp switch look fine as well as everything up front. Im going to pull the fuse box apart tomorrow and look in there-hopefully not a fire but who knows. Any other suggestions?

swap different relays into K5 and K7 and test.
Failing that the next thing inline in the wire connected to the alternator that is grounded.

It is the ac compressor, the clutch heated the wire and melted it at the fuse box, swapped in a new wire and a/c good to go!
