windshield washer pump

I've searched but can't seem to find a solution.
Replaced the windshield washer reservoir pump this morning. The old worked but was leaking around the seal which is common. Once I replaced with the new, the pump doesn't seem to engage, can't hear anything. Fuses are good. Any ideas?

I just bought a "universal" pump off ecs tuning with no issues. Check your wiring if you get no pump action. Ig you get the pump working check your nozzles because I had a clog there and it might back up the pump.
